SUPERVISOR: Maintenance Lead
STATUS: Full-time, Non-exempt
The Maintenance/Janitorial Technician will carry out a wide variety of janitorial and maintenance duties, including preventative, emergency, property and apartment turn-over, and routine maintenance for multiple buildings.
Assist in meeting the property goals relative to occupancy as defined in the operating plan, provide a quality living environment for the residents, and work to establish a positive, productive work relationship with the program staff.
Turning-over vacant units will consist of:
>Coordinating with on-site manager to ensure move-out inspection and pictures are complete
>Walking through unit to visually inspect maintenance repairs that are needed, using a punch list
>Documenting supplies for repairs, if needed (e.g. outlet covers, cabinet knobs, toilet seats, tile, paint, etc.)
>Checking if supplies are in stock or need to be ordered
>Maintaining front door locks- to be re-keyed and keys swapped out in on-site office
>Patching any holes in walls, preparing sheet rock, paint
>Painting and cleaning (done last), after all work orders are done
